The gals of N8 are so stinkin’ excited to welcome our newest member of the team – Matt Johnson.
Matt joins us as our Vice President of UX Design, which is basically a fancy way to say he makes sure all the digital work that goes out into the world is tailored to a user’s needs. With over 15 years of website design experience and his commitment to the highest-quality product possible – he has already become an invaluable member of this team.
VP is a pretty heavy title, and reflects where we’re heading as an agency – a growing team with departments that own each of their projects and moves them through the pipeline efficiently.
If you’re reading this blog you probably already know that as the owners of North of Eight, Kassie and Emily have NO SHAME when it comes to owning our weaknesses.
Owning a business is HARD. We can’t possibly excel at every piece of it – and as we grow we have more and more responsibilities on our plates. And this means that after we’ve put in our 10 hours each day, there are still a million things left on our to-do lists.
It’s an amazing problem to have, but when if affects how quickly we can turn around our projects, it’s time to find a solution.
Enter Matt.
As VP of UX Design, Matt will lead our web department and be a key voice in our growth strategy. His eye for design, attention to detail and focus process will ensure only the best, user-focused digital experiences make it out into the world.

Matt grew up in Frederic, moved to Chicago, moved BACK to the Northwoods, and is now residing in Webster with his wife and two young boys.
