One of our long-standing retainer clients, Madsen Pest and North of Eight are a match made in bug heaven. From their website to SEO, social media support and digital marketing - we've got them covered.
Madsen came to us with a website design that they absolutely loved, but were unsure if the website was performing well in terms of speed, search ranking and some basic functionality pieces. After looking under the hood, we decided a full rebuild was necessary - but kept the original aesthetic (which their previous marketing partner totally nailed).
After relaunching the site, we saw an immediate improvement in page speed and other performance indicators. From there, we dove into an SEO campaign and saw extraordinary success in just the first couple of months.

While creating their TikToks and focusing on SEO, we were also asked to start running social ads. However, their primary focus wasn't necessarily on their services but rather on hiring both office staff and technicians. Everyone knows hiring campaigns are hard. Everyone is doing them. So how do you actually capture someone's attention? We took some of our best-performing TikTok content and turned them into hiring ads to celebrate the company culture and show a little about what the day-to-day looks like at Madsen.

The campaign data alone is impressive but the confirmation that the campaign resulted in at least one confirmed new hire for the Madsen crew is a feeling like no other. With limited ways to target folks, we had to get creative with our audience building tools while making sure we were speaking to the right folks at the right time.
When Madsen came to us they knew they wanted to do something different with their pest management company’s social media but weren’t sure where to start. We thought, what better way to do so than by branching into the world of TikTok? From our first meeting they were 100% on board with any/all of our shenanigans - stating that they “didn’t just want to be a pest control company on TikTok but THE pest control company on TikTok”. With that, they gave us full control of how we could go about spending the next four months getting their account off the ground. They allowed us to get real creative and be our weird selves. Our goal was to establish a following on TikTok while increasing brand awareness and promoting their company culture. Our goal was to get as many eyes as possible on some fun, kind of gross, pest-related content.
Over the course of the next four months we created a series of 10 videos using fresh content snagged by both technicians out on the job as well as content that we came out and shot “on scene”. The results were incredible - accruing over 5.9 million views and 9,132 followers on a brand new account was something we thought only dreams were made of.
